Trivia

Well, when I was interviewed by Sherry Jones Sept. 15 she asked me my favorite question which has ever been asked me. How does your brain operate? Back ass backwards. I truly love my brain and live in it sometimes. When I am looking at a difficult problem, like Sept. 11 or something, I take the final result, planes crashing and work to the beginning. This is how I determined the planes were flown by remote control Sept. 11. Also I compare the way my brain operates with the game of Solitaire in which one tries to straighten out a deck of cards. My brain is fast as can be but it likes to have the right answer and double checks a lot. This is why sometimes I can't give an instant answer or if I do give an instant answer I spend the next 30 minutes updating my original answer. By the way I have had a lot of questions asked me by some big time writers from Boston Globe, Houston Press, a writer who has contributed to Time.

Another item I want to clarify because I don't want to come across as a liar. I mentioned to Ms. Jones that there had been a suggestion that I run for President on the Reform Party ticket but that I was interested in the County Commissioners' race because of the LEC deal, quality of life, and taxes. The other day I heard that environmentalist guy whatever his name, Nader, got on the ballot in Florida as the Reform Party nominee for President so I have decided to substantiate the Reform Party discussion. Another reason I did not take the Reform Party suggestion seriously was because I had read the Reform Party was romancing Nader to be their candidate for President.

Dear Mr. Randy Crow:

Will you consider running for the Reform Party 2004 nomination for President? America needs a candidate like you to solve all of it's problems. Since Kerry and the left won the Democratic nomination, you may feel more at hoe in the Reform Party. The Reform Party isn't as strong as it was in 1996 & 2000, but it can still get ballot access in 7 states at least. All you would have to do is to join the Reform Party, announce your intentions, contact some party officers, and go to their National Convention. Maybe you can ask if you can be a speaker. The Reform Party needs you to run for it's Presidential nomination, the two announced candidates are either weird or incompetent. You are clearly a better choice. America needs you to run. Please, contact me as soon as you can and let me know what you think.

Elron Sobibor

Also I feel Karl Rove screws with me from time to time so I was leery with the e-mail and the entire Reform Party deal. The name on the e-mail Elron Sobibor seemed like a tool job name. The word "hoe" may not have been a typo for the word "home". This was a reply I made later on.

I would not even consider running for president as a candidate for any political party without first having a long face to face talk with the chairman of the party. At this point in time I do not want to imply I am even considering switching parties because I am not. I like the Democratic party and I fully intend to vote in our Presidential caucus Saturday and I am considering running for local office as a Democrat later this year as I wrote Paul. So don't have your feelings hurt if I don't respond to any more of your e-mail because if there is a next step which I don't really want a next step right now it will by telephone to set up a face to face meeting with the chairman of whatever party may be considering me. Actually I am enjoying not running for office at the moment and if I do run for president it will be a slow decision which comes after face to face meetings with party leaders.

God please don't have Your feelings hurt. You did a good job quelling Ivan even though those people who hate You $ulzberger zioni$t communi$t$ don't give You credit and try to make Ivan out to be a lot worst than Ivan was. Ivan was a sweet pussy cat compared to what Ivan would have been had You not quelled Ivan..

9-15-04 Wednesday 2:00 PM North Carolina time

God thank you for this day. Thank you for allowing the Divine Design of My life to manifest in the perfect way. God I thought you did a nice job of quelling Frances. Of course no one gave You credit because no one in the media or much of anywhere believes in God. God everyone wants Your job so they discredit and try to make people believe You don't exist. But anyway another hurricane is out there in the Gulf of Mexico mean as can be. Ivan the Horrible packing winds of 135 MPH due to drop 10 to 15 inches of rain on Alabama or wherever Ivan comes ashore. I think it would be nice of You to quell Ivan and make Ivan not so horrible and a sweetie. Please do something to Ivan that blows the minds of the weather experts and makes them mumble to themselves, Not again, what happened to our hurricane. Quit messing with our hurricanes God.

Thanks God. Have a nice day. Your pal. Randy

Outer rainbands from Ivan moving onshore

Buzz Bernard, Meteorologist, The Weather Channel
The initial rainbands from dangerous Hurricane Ivan are moving onshore along the northern Gulf Coast now, and conditions will steadily deteriorate from here on out. Damaging wind gusts (over 50 mph) are likely in the stronger squalls this afternoon as the rainbands continue to spiral northward. Wind and rain will peak late tonight and early tomorrow as the eye of Ivan, still as a major hurricane, thunders ashore, probably somewhere between Gulfport, Miss., and Pensacola, Fla., before sunrise. Near and a short distance east of where the eye crosses the coast, storm surge waters will breach barrier islands and coastal lowlands. Tide levels could equal or exceed Hurricane Frederic's (1979) in the Mobile area. If the center of Ivan were to move just west of Mobile Bay, a surge of 16-18 feet would be possible in the north end of the bay. Along the Florida Panhandle, a general surge of 5 to 8 feet seems likely. Ivan will continue to swirl inland tomorrow with the core of the storm grinding through Alabama. Damaging wind gusts, excessive amounts of rain (10-15 inches) and isolated tornadoes will accompany a weakening Ivan as it plods northward.
