As the Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team, ERT, raided a rented house serving a warrant New Hanover County Sheriff's Deputy Christopher Long shot 18-year-old Peyton Strickland in the head and shoulder through a closed door killing him December 1, 2006. Ben David, New Hanover County District Attorney, said Long fired through the front door after mistaking the sound of a battering ram hitting the door for gunfire coming from the house. Michael McGuinness, Long's attorney, said DA Ben David and Judge Ernest Fullwood refused to allow Long to testify before the grand jury. Sheriff Causey's Department fired Long and recommended Long be charged with second degree murder. DA Ben David presented the grand jury with a second degree murder charge against Long and Mr. David did not tell the grand jury Long could be charged with a lesser charge, such as manslaughter. A grand juror said she thought Long would have been charged with manslaughter had DA David told them they could charge Long with manslaughter. A Duke law professor said it would be extremely rare to consider charges other than what prosecutors presented to them. The Superior Court Clerk said every grand juror is given a 22 page do's and don't's book which does not cover pursuing other charges. Grand jury members knew a fellow juror, Malinda Murphy, was married to a member of the New Hanover County's Sheriff's Office. Ms. Murphy did not ask to be excused from the grand jury for conflict of interests, even though during grand jury instruction and in the do's and don't's book she was instructed to ask the DA if she has a conflict of interest if she knows of a connection to the case which might be interpreted by any of the parties as a conflict of interest, and DA David did not ask Ms. Murphy to be excused from the grand jury for conflict of interest.

Has War Criminal John Negroponte built death squads in the United States to make "War on the States" and cause a Civil War so the USA will be put under Marshall Law? Has Christopher Long received death squad training and not even know it? Negroponte has set up death squads in every country he has worked for the last twenty five years or so. Negroponte's death squads are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths in Iraq over the last two years. Certainly Negroponte has a big motive for forming death squads in the USA. The Neocons want the United States in a state of civil disobedience so Marshall Law can be enacted. Democrat District Attorney Ben David and Democrat Sheriff Sid Causey appear to be trained as pawns in a deliberate plan to totally and completely anger the people in New Hanover County to take up arms in acts of civil disobedience. I assume Sheriff Causey does not plan to run for Sheriff in four years. David and Causey are among the Democrats very best elected officials. If David and Causey are belittled out of office over the next four years, Democrats might as well fold up the tent. I am going to watch the outcome of this David-Causey-Long-Strickland-Hamid case like a hawk. You can call me crazy if you want, but I really think we in little ole Wilmington are seeing the techniques John Negroponte has used all over the planet and especially now in Iraq to cause a civil war in Baghdad. Watch what comes next from David, Causey, a Rambo ERT, the media, First Baptist Church's Pastor "Skin Head" Queen, and a few hired killers and see if their actions cause civil disobedience in our region which is similar to the civil disobedience in Baghdad. See if civil disobedience in Wilmington mirrors civil disobedience in other parts of the United States. A major key as to whether or not this entire Peyton Strickland killing is a perfectly planned Homeland Security plot is to watch how Peyton Stickland's father responds. If Mr. Strickland does something which blows this situation to kingdom come then we can go to the bank knowing Peyton was researched and picked out of a crowd to be killed for a purpose and the theft of the play station through Peyton's killing was manipulated by John Negroponte's civil disobedience team from day one.

A black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt armed with a handgun fatally shot a Palestinian Arab store clerk shortly before 10:50 AM Thursday December 14, 2006. Because the robber was at large, Gregory Elementary School and Williston Middle School went into "lockdown" mode shortly after word spread to school resource officers.

My first thought when I heard the grand jury let Sheriff Deputy Long off for killing Peyton Strickland was that it was a trick which would so anger people there were going to be revenge killings. Friday when I read the Star News and saw the headlines "Single father shot, killed by armed robber in store" I said to myself "you are right as rain, this Long-Strickland-Causey-David mess has gotten a store clerk killed." Then I saw the picture from the store surveillance video and said this is no amateur job, with that picture it is nearly nearly impossible to identify the shooter. After reading the article and finding out a black had killed the Arab it occurred to me the event is so racially charged a black guy may be a John Negroponte Homeland Security death squad contract job shooter. Why would Negroponte's death squads be responsible for the death of store clerk Abdel Hamid in rinky dink Wilmington? Logic dictates John Negroponte's job is to form death squads which cause such civil disobedience in the USA that the USA is put under Marshall Law and comrade Little George is installed as the first perpetual USA dictator. Can one imagine a more bazaar set of events, the Hamid death extremely racially charged, to outrage people than what has happened in Wilmington over the last two weeks. Robert J. Gruber, publisher of the Star News, owned by Ottie $ulzberger, goes in to racist autopilot when an Arab and/or black make the news. An Arab and black in the same story the Star News puts any racism they can extract from the story on steroids. The Star News calls Abdel "Mohammad" and incites all the racist Arab and Muslim haters and infuriates Arabs and church going readers with one eight letter word. A black killing an Arab on the heels of law enforcement and Ben David handling of a difficult situation in a manner that causes the public to shake their heads and mumble "Are you kidding me?" Law enforcement took the front door from the rent house, the least Mr. David should do is take the door and battering ram before the next grand jury and match up the spot where the battering ram hit the door to explain why Strickland's death was so called "accidental." The door and battering ram would be new evidence to a new grand jury and should justify a manslaughter charge. If the door and battering ram come up missing then people should assume Negroponte's Homeland Security death squads, Ben David, Sid Causey, Ottie $ulzberger's media and Pastor Queen are in the conspiracy making war on the United States to install a communi$t dictatorship in the USA - treason. Most people will say "Randy, you're nuts and you think way too much." Well law enforcement has had a fantastic record of solving murders in Wilmington. We will see if they solve the Hamid murder. If law enforcement does not solve this one, it tells me John Negroponte hired the black guy as the shooter.

So why would John Negroponte unleash a Homeland Security death squad in Wilmington? Random. Negroponte death squads most likely are just beginning to operate in the USA. Negroponte Iraq death squads started slowly in Baghdad also. Now almost all the killing in Baghdad is attributed to Negroponte, and Negroponte death squad murders are up to around a hundred a day in Baghdad. Using Baghdad as an rule of thumb and considering the USA has so many more people living here than in Iraq Negroponte's goal may be to get death squad killings in the USA up to 500 a day before the November 2008 elections in order to scrub the 2008 Presidential election and install Little George as a un elected perpetual communi$t type dictator. Logic dictates Negroponte's computers are spying on Americans generating people for death squad to hit by sorting and finding data favorable for stirring civil unrest. It is my guess Peyton Stickland and his father came up in Homeland Security computer programs designed to generate situations where killing would lead to civil disobedience. Same type of computer searches used by the likes of Homeland Security for years to find situations and locations to manipulate school kid killings. For years I have blamed school kid shootings on cells of bad guys hired by the Neocon shadow government. The DC sniper murders I blame on on cells of bad guys. I thought the motive Negroponte and the bad guys staged and manipulated the school kid killings was to get laws passed to take the guns away from the people. Gun control is a big reason behind school kid killings. It is becoming clear that another big reason for school kid killings was to give Negroponte a reason to form death squads. Every law enforcement center in the USA has formed heavily armed ERTs, Emergency Response Teams, as a result of school kid killings. Now it is becoming clear each ERT feeds on the actions of other ERTs. As one ERT kill and shooters get away scott free it emboldens members of ERTs in other parts of the country to kill at the drop of a hat knowing the shooters have nothing to fear from DAs and law enforcement. This is exactly what the Neocons and Negroponte want. ERTs becoming more and more violent to incite a civil disobedient society. Long's attorney seemed so prepared it crossed my mind he might have anticipate he was going to get a call to get a member of an ERT off the hook. The communi$t$ have devised a plan to put the people of the United States in a police state. I fully expect Pastor Queen of First Baptist Church to play an important role in turning the United States into a communi$t police state. Why? Pastor Queen is involved with Little George's Faith Based program, and the outrageous LEC sale to First Baptist. Do you think the LEC and the Faith Based program comes with no strings attached? I don't think so. Pastor Queen is expected to talk up heavily armed unaccountable ERTs. People of course will call me crazy. The proof is in the pudding. The violence over the last six years has never happened since the United States began. Accident? No way.The Neocon bad guys must put the USA in a state of Marshall Law before Little George Bush is replaced by election, scheduled for November 2008, so Little George will be installed as the USA's first perpetual communi$t type dictator. The next eighteen months should be very violent in the USA if I am correct. If I am completely wrong, you have a right and should call me crazy as a loon.

Media wrongly reports Iranian President's comments about Zionism
The headlines blared "Iran's President Ahmadinejad said Israel will soon be wiped out." But what he actually said (and was reported in these same articles) is that " Zionism will be wiped out". The media changed the word "Zionism" to "Israel". Zionism is to Israel as Neoconservatism is to the U.S. Saying that Zionism will be wiped out is a statement about a concept, not a threat towards an entire country. This misrepresentation is another step towards convincing the American public that Iran's leader is planning to destroy Israel, thus justifying an Israeli and/or U.S. attack on Iran.

Negroponte is reading my articles as I write them. Neocons would not move so quickly to negate me if I was not deadly accurate.

Officers' use of battering ram is questioned by two experts

Associated Press

Two experts on SWAT team missions question the use of a battering ram by New Hanover County deputies to knock down a door in a raid that led to the shooting death of a college student suspected of stealing Playstation 3 sets.

Such a "dynamic entry" tactic is commonly employed during life-threatening hostage situations or drug raids as a way to seize narcotics before they can easily be dumped down a toilet or drain.

"They can't flush a PlayStation," said David Klinger, associate professor of criminology and criminal justice at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. "Why not just surround the place and give 'em a shout? They come out, you cuff them and you go in and find the evidence."

Peyton Strickland, 18, and two friends, Braden Riley, 21, and Ryan Mills, 20, were suspected of beating a University of North Carolina Wilmington student and robbing him of two PlayStation 3 consoles worth more than $600 each. Riley and Mills face charges that include armed robbery and assault.

Deputy Christopher Long was part of a 10-member special unit of the sheriff's department called to help police from UNCW serve a warrant at Strickland's house on Dec. 1.

According to search warrants, authorities believed the raid would be a high risk because of pictures on the Internet that showed Mills posing with guns.

UNCW police said they had received information that Mills was known to carry a weapon.

Long and fellow members of the New Hanover County Sheriff's paramilitary team said they had to charge through the front door with a battering ram if they weren't invited inside. Long, who would be the first inside, would hunt for guns and order everyone in the house to get down, District Attorney Ben David said.

Long never entered the house during the raid. He mistook the sound of the battering ram striking the door for hostile gunfire and unleashed a string of bullets through the door that struck Strickland.

One bullet hit Strickland in the head while another struck him in the chest, barely missing his heart. He died nearly four hours later.

Long fell apart in the yard crying, "Oh Jesus, oh Jesus," said Sharika Hankins, a member of the grand jury that chose not to indict Long on a charge of second-degree murder, recalling a description of that night by an agent from the State Bureau of Investigation. Hankins disagreed with the panel's decision to not indict Long.

Long is being criminally investigated for killing Strickland.

Concern for potential botched raids and the safety of officers and the public are why some SWAT teams use less-aggressive tactics for lesser crimes and less-dangerous situations.

The Strickland case illustrates the increased use of SWAT teams to conduct drug raids and serve arrest and search warrants for both high-risk felony cases and lesser crimes when officers think a threat of violence exists.

(As long as you think I am nuts you might as well think I am real nuts. Negroponte's skin heads are reading my article while I wrote it and they have planted the Associated Press article to negate mine. This is the first Associated Press coverage on the Wilmington Long incident and is written more as a response to my article than to Star News coverage. It is quicker and easier for Negroponte's bunch to plant articles in Associated Press than the Star News.)

No uniform training

Despite the danger involved with such teams, there are no uniform training requirements for officers serving on these elite tactical squads.

Training is critical for tactical teams, said Peter Kraska, a criminal justice professor at Eastern Kentucky University and co-author of two nationwide studies of SWAT team deployments and training.

"There's absolutely no standards or national accreditation or anything a department has to do to establish a tactical team," Kraska said. "So many people have the misconception that because there's a SWAT team, its members are competent and highly trained … and it's just not the case."

North Carolina, like most states, doesn't set statewide standards for tactical training, leaving that up to individual agencies, Kraska said.

New Hanover County Sheriff Sid Causey said Long, a 10-year deputy whom he fired after the shooting, "exceeded" the team's training, firearms and fitness requirements.

Another nationwide study Kraska co-wrote shows teams averaged less than one incident a year in which officers fired their weapons at suspects or had accidental firearms discharges. "You've got to have really squared-away, well-trained guys making these decisions," he said. "Otherwise you can have a disaster."
