New Hanover County Democratic Party Executive Committee Acts in Un American Manner

Ms. Helen Worthy, Chairwoman
New Hanover County Democratic Party

Dear Ms. Worthy,

As Chairwoman, and I apologize for using Chairman the first time I wrote this which you might consider prejudice and anger you, of the Democratic Party in New Hanover County you get the credit and blame when people like me point out faults.

Since I introduced myself at a Party meeting and I have had my fair share of media exposure

<<<< Hello, this is where my name, Randy Crow belongs.

the Executive Committee knows I am on the ballot November 2 as a candidate for County Commissioner. However in this list of Democratic candidates I am not listed. As a matter of fact I believe I am the only Democratic candidate who is on the November 2 ballot the New Hanover County Democratic Party Executive Committee did not list.

Did the Executive Committee just decide because of some reason not to list me because I do not recall any special meetings called for the purpose of deciding who would and would not be on the list.

There are probably 50,000 or so Democrats registrar ed in New Hanover County and for a hand full of Democrats to sway an election for one Democratic candidate over another Democratic candidate is not the way America is supposed to work. communist Parties use hook or crook to anoint candidates who will vote the communist agenda but true American political parties believe in openness, fairness, and majority rule. The Executive Committee is using their power incorrectly and acting in the manner a prejudiced small group of racists and gay bashers operate.

America has lost over 1100 fine brave men and women in Iraq and their lives were lost attempting to prevent exactly what the New Hanover County did when they excluded me for the list of candidates - A few ruling, manipulating, the many. You will notice the state Democratic Party does not pick and choose, they act in the American way and list all Democratic candidates and let the voters make this decision.

One lesson I have learned from politics is how blacks and gays must feel when people in the Mike Glancy style deliberately hurt their feeling as un Americans' voice prejudice, racism, and hate. Just like every Jewish person, black, gay, old time communi$t hating rich American, or deformed midget who has been subject to hatred and racism and prejudice feels, I feel the hurt of prejudice and racism and feel you and the Executive Committee owe me an apology and for my name to be included in your list of Democratic candidates on the ballot in New Hanover County.

Last weekend I went to a two day anti Racism seminar sponsored by a local church. Several questions we were asked to answer made me realize how lucky I am. What was the worst racial slur or action you heard/saw your father say or do? What was the worst racial slur or action you heard/saw your mother say or do? What was the worst racial slur or action you personally are responsible? Zero, zip, none. Thank God my father and mother never once made racial slurs or deeds. My mother was a renown sculptress and I have the clay bust she made of Martin Luther King in my office. My father built a retail gasoline company giving minorities store manager responsibilities and put hispanics and blacks in business for themselves. I was the first person in Houston to hire a black supervisor to supervise minority service station managers. So when people say I am prejudiced I think of the great Dwight Yoakam song, "You're the One," and vomit and think, how hypocritical can you get. One of my favorite saying is, "This world has a choice, stop the racism, or die," and crap like this remind me I am right as rain.

I would really like to know for what reasons the Executive Committee decided to exclude me? The list is in a format that you can't copy, that is why I had to scan it, and this shows the Executive Committee was well aware of their mischief and put their prejudice in a form that is difficult to reproduce which multiples the intent of their hatred.

You may know the name of the great American which made this statement but I have forgotten his name but his words are words I will never forget. He said something like, I may hate what an American says to the bottom of my soul, but I will fight to my death to allow him to say it. Being prejudiced is bad and horrible any time but racism and hatred really comes home to roost when our kids come home dead and we know every single death in this horrible Mid east war is a follow the dots product of the same type prejudice which the Executive Committee is using on me when it excludes me from its list of Democratic candidates.

Make America stronger at home, more respected in the world.

begins with the New Hanover County Democratic Party Executive Committee not playing favorites and let the voters know All the Democratic candidates running for County Commissioner and let the voters choose who they want to vote. Its the American way.
