A Rove Political Trick - al-Sadr's Militia to Disarm

Iraq's interim government has said it welcomes a proposal by Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sadr's militia to disarm.

"The government welcomes the announcement by Sadr that his militia will disband, hand over their weapons, respect the authority and the unity of the state and abide by the rule of law in Iraq," said a statement issued on Friday in the name of Kasim Dawud, Iraq's national security adviser and chief negotiator.

Since Miller is not guilty and her involvement is described correctly as a "fishing expedition," the Plame incident will go away and Rove will have gotten away with another dirty trick felony.

How do we know Karl Rove leaked the info and is behind the Plame cover-up? Investigators have not interviewed him. The Plame incident has Rove's signature. It is how Rove silences, with the threat Wilson or Plame will be murdered - a text book dirty trick like he has been using for 35 years.

Rover is behind the Dan Rather set up and even wanted Rather's mess investigated by a Congressional investigation. Rover plays " break every law in the book, catch me if you can" when it comes to something serious like blowing Plame's cover, and then Rover calls for a Congressional investigation of his manipulated Rather dirty trick.

Rove is guilty of the Plame incident because he is working so hard to make it go away, especially from him.

Oil prices hit $53 a barrel

- Oil prices scaled new heights at $53 for U.S. crude Thursday on concerns over tight winter heating fuel supplies and an unexpected strike at Nigerian oil terminals.

Also, on the day of the first debate Rover set up kids in Baghdad to gather by getting the US military to hand out candy and then got one of Rover's terrorists groups, probably Uday Hussein's bunch, trained in Israel, to explode car bombs which killed 34 kids and maimed three of our brave fine soldiers. Rover's logic, if US voters are convinced the terrorism in Iraq is horrible they will be too scarred to get rid of Little George. BAGHDAD, Iraq - Business is booming at the Baghdad morgue.

Before the war, before the fall of Saddam Hussein's government, seven or eight bodies arrived each day at this nondescript building in northeastern Baghdad for autopsies. Most deaths resulted from car crashes or other accidents. Killings were rare, and gun violence rarer still, a testament to the monopoly that Mr. Hussein held on the use of force.

Now the paper-and-cardboard ledgers where the autopsies are logged are torn from overuse. On an average day, the morgue receives 20 to 25 bodies, the human cost of the post-war wave of crime and insurgency engulfing the city.

"The unexpected change is an increase in bullet injuries," said Dr. Abdul Razzaq al-Obeidi, one of the morgue's chief doctors. "Mostly vengeance." In the first eight months of this year nearly 3,000 people in municipal Baghdad, which has about five million residents, have died from gunshot wounds - nearly all homicides, Dr. Obeidi said. A surge of killings in September has only increased the pressure.

The murder rate rose this summer, defying more than a year of promises from the American authorities about the increasing effectiveness of the Iraqi police and security forces.

The Baghdad Forensics Institute, which runs the morgue, has added doctors, but still the bodies pile up. On a recent Monday, one autopsy room was filled with bodies, while others awaited examination on stretchers that lined the walls in a grim, unrefrigerated waiting area.

"Sometimes we don't have anyplace to keep the bodies in the refrigerators because it's full," said Dr. Muthana Abdullah,

Little George Brings Democracy to Afghanistan and Iraq?

One of the reasons Little George gives justifying the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq is that the countries, according to him, are going to have democratic elections.

If Little George believed in Democracy he would not be the President of the United States. Little George would not have allowed the US Supreme anoint him President. The US Supreme Court nullified the state's right to hold democratic elections in violation of the US and Florida Constitutions - a true American would not have allowed himself to become President under those conditions - unconstitutionally. So when the Administration talks about bringing democracy to the Mid east we should assume such talk is spin and another example of the darkness we are confined. Add to this the fact the USA is basically a one party country, there are only 25 UN election observes preparing for January elections in Iraq now, and Diabold electronic voting machines without a paper trail, which have thrown elections to Republicans in the past and no doubt will throw the anointment to Little George November 2, the idea the zioni$t communi$t$ Neocons will allow fair unrigged democratic election that will elect anyone except fasci$t communi$t type candidates who dance the zioni$t jig in Iraq and Afghanistan is an unreal thought.

In the Afghan election, today, Saturday October 9, 2004, the election Little George says makes the invasions justifiable, 740,000 Afghans living in various parts of Pakistan registered and will cast their votes on Saturday in 12,000 polling stations in Pakistan and 6,000 in Iran. The refugee vote could be as significant as 10 percent of the total vote. What easier way to throw an election than absentee ballots? Afghanistan's presidential elections have been plunged into crisis after 14 of the 18 candidates announced they would boycott the polls because of irregularities.

Another challenger, Abdul Satar Sirat, said 14 candidates called for a halt following an early morning hitch when the ink meant to prevent multiple voting could be rubbed out.

"Today's election is not a legitimate election. We are not a part of today's election," Sirat said after an emergency meeting on Saturday.

Qanuni's aide meanwhile said the halt call had also been prompted by claims that while polling stations were open in areas noted for Karzai supporters, they had closed in areas popular with opposition supporters.

If 4 million dozes of flu vaccine were determined to have some problem that means a British company manufactured 46 million dozes that should be fine. Right before the election. The presidential debates are going nowhere. Why? Because both President George Bush and Senator John Kerry are encapsulated in a big lie.

The lie is too big to be acknowledged. Both candidates repeat the mantra that Saddam Hussein was dangerous to America and had to be removed. Both reaffirm that Saddam's removal remains a good thing despite a plethora of official reports concluding that false reasons were given for his removal.

Kerry has missed opportunity after opportunity to be candid with the American people. By speaking frankly, Kerry can deliver a knockout blow that would tear the debate wide open.

COALITION commanders in Afghanistan have begun playing down the importance of Osama bin Laden, in sharp contrast to their earlier confident predictions that he would be killed or captured by the end of this year.

As Afghanistan conducted a historic presidential election at the weekend, the commanders admitted they were no closer to catching the two men who were the main targets of the US-led invasion in late 2001: Bin Laden and Taliban leader Mullar Omar.
