How do I know the USA military is fighting on the side of Saddam Hussein? A USA general said our military is killing the guys who blew up the police station in Fallujah and killed Iraq police in Fallujah. Well the police in Fallujah are Saddam Hussein Sunni. An angry Rumsfeld justifying why the US is in Fallujah killing people said the bad guys had killed 300 Iraqi security forces. The Iraqi security forces are Saddam Hussein's Sunni. Furthermore, the media said US military is going on patrols with Iraqi security forces (that's Saddam Hussein Sunni). The media said the USA was considering new sanctions against Syria because of Syria's ties with Saddam Hussein's Sunni. When the USA invades Syria it will do so to link up with Baathist Nazi Sunni in Syria and our fine soldiers will kill the enemies of the Sunni while the media reports the USA military is killing Saddam Hussein Sunni.

This portion of a copied article from a newspaper states the USA assaulted a poor northern neighborhood which was a Sunni Muslim guerrilla stronghold. A media deliberate deception. Poor areas of Iraq are Shi'ite neighborhoods because the Sunni got the jobs from Saddam Hussein and are/were the Iraqi rich. The Sunni enter Shi'ite neighborhoods and start shooting at USA troops and then flee and the USA forces come in the Shi'ite neighborhood, drop cluster bombs, and kill every old man, woman, and child Shi'ite around. WASHINGTON, April 28 — A Pentagon intelligence report has concluded that many bombings against Americans and their allies in Iraq, and the more sophisticated of the guerrilla attacks in Falluja, are organized and often carried out by members of Saddam Hussein's secret service, who planned for the insurgency even before the fall of Baghdad.

I am delighted the Shi'ites are killing Saddam Hussein Sunni because Saddam Hussein is a bad guy zioni$t communi$t, and I knew when the Shi'ites killed Sunni the true stripes of the zioni$t led USA would be shown to the world. And what are the zioni$t led USA's military stripes? The USA military and Saddam Hussein's Sunni are on the same side. I would suggest to the Shi'ites to keep an eye out for Sunni and kill the heck out of Sunni and expect a trap. When Shi'ites spot Sunni assume the US military is close by. Ever wonder why Saddam Hussein's elite forces are called the Republican Guard? Big George told Saddam to name his forces Republicans.

Another deception is that the USA military is against al Sadr. Actually I think some organization connected to the US military, probably connected to Saddam Hussein Sunni, is funding al Sadr to give the US military an excuse to destroy the mosque at Najaf and kill the heck out of Shi'ites. I would not be surprised if the group which is attacking al Sadr is actually angering the US military. Keep it up who ever you are.

Do know why there are 13,000,000 thirteen million unemployed in Iraq? Iraq's massively high unemployment rate, 40 %, is the result from Iraq's oil production falling to a fraction of what it was before the US invaded Iraq. (Iraq's low oil production is the result of a deliberate zioni$t move to cause more misery in Iraq and hyper inflate world wide oil prices.)

But while Iraq’s leading Shiite moderate cleric, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, has warned the US that the city border was an uncrossable "red line", he is known to share the anger of many Shiites about Sadr’s use of a holy place as a sanctuary.

Local residents, moreover, are deeply angry at how his revolt has robbed them of their livelihoods in recent weeks.

Since Sadr’s forces drove out Spanish troops this month, the tens of thousands of Shiite pilgrims who keep the city’s hoteliers, taxi drivers and restaurateurs in business have become a mere trickle.

During a visit to the city by The Scotsman last week, some residents branded Sadr "the second Saddam", claiming his followers regularly intimidate locals who speak against him.

Another reason we know this Administration is the Beast antichrist group depicted in the Book of Revelations is that Colin Powell recommends the USA attack mosques, illegal under International law and about as Godless and evil as one can get. If the Shi'ite Iraqi community could get al Sadr out of the mosque without damaging the mosque they would have already done so. Powell (the evil) Backs U.S. Attacks on Iraq Mosques

BERLIN - Secretary of State Colin Powell (news - web sites) on Wednesday defended American attacks on mosques and other holy places , a tactic that has drawn complaints from U.N. officials.

Powell, in the German capital for a 55-nation conference on anti-Semitism, rejected criticism by U.N. envoy Lakhdar Brahimi about attacks by American helicopter gunships and tanks at a mosque on Monday in a Fallujah suburb.

Brahimi, who also has dueled with the administration over its support for Israel, had registered his disapproval of the U.S. retaliation, which toppled the mosque's minaret.

President and V-P's claim the US Constitution gives them Executive Privilege not to testify before the 911 Commission is wrong. Congress makes the rules and the President and V-P must live by the rules set out by Congress. The President cannot impeach a member of Congress. If the President and V-P do not live by Congress' rules then Congress may and should impeach them. If Cheney does not turn over the requested documents which pertain to his price fixing of oil prices with Exxon type oil companies Congress can and should impeach Mr. Cheney. The White House had originally placed a one-hour time limit on the meeting, which will be attended by all 10 members of the commission, but that time limit has been informally waived. McClellan said Bush was prepared to answer any questions the commissioners ask.(Congress makes the rules for the 911 Commission not the presidency. Shortly before Sept. 11 NORAD ran exercises that tested track detection and identification; scramble and interception; hijack procedures; internal and external agency coordination and operational security and communications security procedures for planes hijacked from US cities and flown to DC and New York City with the Pentagon and Towers as targets. No lands, No houses, No Palestinians in Jenin

On the morning of Wednesday, April 24th, 2004, Occupation forces surrounded the village of Imreiha, imposing curfew and invading the village. Shortly thereafter a house belonging to Atiaya Hamdan was demolished, as well as a section of another house, and three barns belonging to three brothers from Hamdoni family. The soldiers also arrested the three Hamdoni brothers.

Imreiha is a small community south of Yabad in Jenin District, and the 150 residents in the village are mostly refugees from 1948 Palestine. The village has little or no public infrastructure as the Occupation forces have prohibited the people from developing the village, or buiding any additional structures. Considering the lands of the village would allow for further expansion potential for the two settlements of Khermesh and Mevo Dotan, the Occupation forces have employed several different policies to try and expel the people from the village. In addition to barring them from building any new structures, existing buildings are routinely demolished. In the last few years alone seven buildings have been reduced to piles of rubble. The economic hardship resulting from the destruction of these buildings, the inability of the people to raise animals or use their agricultural lands are all part of a larger strategy to force the villagers from their homes.

In Zububa the people are not being allowed to sow their tobacco crop for this season, tobacco being the main crop in the village. Occupation forces are not permitting the people to work, or even access their lands, which are adjacent to the Apartheid Wall. Occupation forces have installed a number of cameras to monitor the situation, and enforce the restrictions. Most of Zububa's lands are to the east of the Wall, and many people were arrested this month and taken to Salem military station coinciding directly with the few weeks available for planting.

In Mutilla, east Jenin, Occupation forces gave stop work warnings to two houses currently under construction. The two houses are overlooking the Wall.

Dhahr Al Malih: A Prison for its People

The people in the village of Dhahr Al Malih are now living as prisoners in their village after their permits have not been renewed since the thirteenth of this month. In October 2003 the Occupation forces issued a military order declaring the entire area –including isolated village and lands- behind the Wall as a "closed military area" where only Israelis are allowed. As for Palestinians they have to apply for permits that enable them to reach their isolated lands, and people living in the isolated villages behind the Wall are required to have permits that enable them to stay in their houses and villages. On the thirteenth the permits for the people of Dhahr Al Malih expired and needed to be renewed, however, the Occupation forces did not renew them for the people. Now 300 people living in Dhahr Al Malih are imprisoned in their own village.

The village has no medical or educations institutions of its own and depends on the village of Tura Gharbiya, once nearby, but now separated from Dhahr Al Malih by the Wall. The people can no longer reach their work places or schools or any other other essentials services they might need from the rest of Jenin district because the Occupation soldiers on the gate are not allowing them to pass.

Palestinians from the other areas of the West Bank are prohibited from entering the area between the Wall and the green line. This means that until the Occupation forces decide –if they do- to give permits to the people in Dhahr Al Malih the village will be a prison for its own residents.

Anata Targeted with Demolitions

Today Occupation forces destroyed 5 buildings in Anata, in the northern Jerusalem area. The buildings included a brick factory, which was located on the eastern side of Anata, close to the by-pass road and the military camp built on Anata’s lands. The factory was owned by Mohammad No’man and was the main source of income for three families, in addition to the families of the four workers employed by the factory. Occupation forces used their usual excuse of a lack of building permit to justify the demolition of the factory, which has been operating in the area for years. The Factory was approximately 800m2 and cost more than 200,000 NIS to construct. Two Bedouin families who live nearby, on the other side of the bypass road, were also given notifications to evacuate the area within three days.

Demolitions continued on the southern side of Anata, where a house owned by Mohammad Elian was demolished. The home was built four years ago, and since that time Occupation forces have prohibited the family from living in it. Mohammad, his wife and four children have been forced to share the home of Mohammad's parents. Directly In front of Mohammad's house is a house belonging to Farahat Hadad. Farahat was issued a three day warning, at which time Occupation forces said they would return to demolish his home as well.

Two animal barns where also destroyed, one in the southeastern side of Annata belonging to Mussa Hussien. The same barn was demolished 5 years ago and its owners rebuilt. The other barn, further to the south, belonged to Saleh Nimer and his two brothers, and was the sole source of income for their families.

A small mosque, built approximately 6 months ago was also demolished. At least six houses in the area near the mosque are also slated to be demolished, as the Apartheid Wall is expected to pass directly through this area.

The Vanunu Campaign and Its Lessons
Mordechai Vanunu – Imprisoned 1986-2004

In November 1992 I traveled from the UK to the US, to join Sam Day Jr. for a speaking tour on behalf of the Vanunu campaign. By that time Mordechai Vanunu had been imprisoned for five years, held in a small cell in total isolation. Our tour began in Madison, Wisconsin – Sam Day’s home town – and proceeded to Chicago, Boston, Urbana-Champaign, Philadelphia, New Haven. and New York. Mostly we spoke to campus audiences, though here and there we joined other gatherings, such as the Middle East Justice Network that was meeting in Boston.

It was on this tour that I discovered the strength and depth of the Jewish adherence to the State of Israel and its policies – an adherence that often overrode convictions about nuclear armament, international peace, and human rights. We met senior Jewish academics whose names were associated with opposition to the war in Vietnam and to US intervention in Latin America, and even appeared among opponents of nuclear weapons – but who took a very different line when it came to Israel’s nuclear arsenal and to Mordechai Vanunu, the whistleblower who revealed the truth about it.

This was not long after the first war launched by the United States against Iraq, in the course of which Iraqi Scud missiles had fallen on Israel. This was repeatedly mentioned as proof that the enmity of the Arab countries towards Israel remained as strong as ever and that the Jewish state was fighting for its survival. Ergo, Israel needed these fearsome doomsday weapons for self-defense.

After a while I shifted the emphasis of my statements from anti-nuke to pro-whistle blowing. I pointed out that American, British, French, Chinese, and Russian citizens knew what they had by way of nuclear weapons, and even knew where they were stored. Israelis, on the other hand, were kept in the dark. The case of Vanunu, I pointed out, linked two issues which are universally regarded as everybody’s business and that no government can hide under the pretext of internal affairs – namely, weapons of mass destruction (chiefly nukes) and human rights. Here, too, the subtle difference between Jewish and non-Jewish members of the audience quickly came to the fore. Weapons of mass destruction and human rights concerned everybody – yes, but not in relation to Israel. (There are, of course, individual exceptions to the rule – notably Daniel Ellsberg and Noam Chomsky.)

Years passed. Mordechai Vanunu languished in prison. The campaign to free him had been launched in London by his brother Meir, working from the attic of Akiva Orr’s house. Before long such persons as Bruce Kent (the founder of CND), Peter Benenson (founder of Amnesty International), Ben Birnberg (the well-known human rights lawyer), playwright Harold Pinter, actress Julie Christie, psychiatrist Andrew Wilski, and others joined the campaign and formed the Vanunu Trust.

The European Parliament adopted several resolutions calling on Israel to free Vanunu. In the US, Sam Day – formerly editor of The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists and The Progressive – gathered supporters among the Nuke-Resisters, the Catholic Worker activists, and others. The Norwegian Peace Bureau, led by attorney Fredrik Heffermehl, repeatedly proposed Vanunu for the Nobel Peace prize, as did Joseph Rotblat and the Pugwash Conference (themselves Nobel laureates). Mordechai Vanunu received the Right Livelihood Award (a.k.a. the Alternative Nobel Peace Prize), which was followed by other peace and freedom prizes. The Sunday Times continued to support the man who had enabled it to publish the first authoritative report on Dimona and Israel’s nuclear arsenal. But most of the attention was in Europe and the European media and institutions. In the US the mainstream media continued to ignore – or marginalize – Vanunu and the subject of Israel’s nuclear arsenal. The most prominent American to express strong support for Vanunu was, and remains, Daniel Ellsberg, whose disclosure of the so-called Pentagon Papers had hastened the end of the Vietnam War.

In Israel, however, the case of Vanunu remained marginalized. Only in recent years, as the subject grew more pressing – because of the focus on the Middle East in connection with WMDs, and Mordechai’s approaching release – did the media begin to turn its attention to Israel's "Man in the iron mask." It was noticeable that each time something positive happened, e.g., Vanunu’s renewed nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize, his honorary doctorate from Tromso University (Norway), something nasty was sure to crop up in the tabloids. Once Yediot Ahronot published on its front page a story by Ron Ben-Yishai, according to which Mordechai Vanunu was caught passing the Arab prisoners at Shikmah prison notes with instructions on how to make bombs.... The libel suit against both the newspaper and the journalist is still pending.

The Long Ordeal Draws to a Close

Recently the same newspaper published new "revelations" by a former convict, who said that Vanunu celebrates each time a suicide bomb goes off in Israel, and that he wishes an atom bomb would fall on that country. This is the worst kind of incitement – the families of the victims of these terror attacks, hearing that Vanunu was rejoicing in their tragedy, would no doubt hate his guts, and the forces of darkness in this country probably hope that one of the bereaved, or a sympathizer, would do a Jack Ruby. Indeed, one correspondent wrote in Maariv’s website that he would like precisely this role. A vicious campaign, led by some of the better-known Israeli columnists and broadcasters (e.g. Dan Margalit and Eitan Haber) literally bayed for Mordechai’s blood.

Out of Prison – Not Yet Free

It was against this background that the moment came and Mordechai Vanunu, flanked by his two loyal and devoted brothers, Meir and Asher, emerged through the prison gate into the spring sunshine. He raised his hands in the air with the V sign, and told the world he was the same man who had been captured and imprisoned in 1986, and that he was proud and happy with what he had done.

The crowd outside was a seething mass of friends and supporters, bearing posters thanking Mordechai Vanunu and throwing flowers at him and at the car that took him away – and an ugly crowd of furious, raging men (and a few women), who shouted curses and imprecations, called for Vanunu’s blood, and burned posters bearing his portrait.

Vanunu is out of prison, but he is not yet free. A vindictive state refuses to let its victim go. The restrictions imposed on him – derived from emergency regulations dating from the British Mandatory Government in 1945 – are now being challenged before the High Court of Justice, and we shall see if they stand. Don’t hold your breath – the High Court of Justice generally accedes to the demands of the so-called security services. But perhaps it will surprise us this time.

On Wednesday, April 21, in the evening, we supporters of Mordechai Vanunu finally met the man we had campaigned for all these years. Meeting Mordechai, I was struck with amazement by his calm, dignified, yet warm manner with the crowd of supporters who met him at the Anglican Church hostel in Jerusalem. He hugged and kissed each and every one of us, remembered each of us personally from correspondence and his brothers’ reports. We were all moved to tears and quite overwhelmed with joy.

Later I read some of the vile and vicious stories in the Hebrew press, and saw that Maariv, in its website, asked the readers what they thought should be "done about Vanunu." One of the options offered was: Kill him.

It was then that the thought came to me how much like the Cosa Nostra Israel had become. The Sicilian mafia was – like Israel and its Jewish Amen corner in the West – a closed tribal organization. Its members were subject to the rule of Omerta – silence or death. Any of its members who dared to go outside the tribe and cooperate with the rest of the world were condemned to death. And the State of Israel has been using the same tactics – assassination is government policy. (When it rebounded on our heads with the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin people were shocked, but they should not have been surprised. Rabin’s assassin only applied to the hated PM, who was planning to cede some of the Occupied Territories to the Palestinians, the policy the Israeli government had legitimized for years.)

So Mordechai Vanunu needs to be protected from the bloodthirsty, brainwashed goons who will seize any opportunity to "eliminate" him, with the same lack of scruple and righteous conviction that animates Israelis when they murder Palestinian "militants."

You who read this, give some thought to the subject, and if you have a way of protesting, do so, and make sure you are heard. Do it for Mordechai, do it for a safer Middle East, and do it also for the memory of Sam Day, who did not live to see this day.
