AK RIDGE, Tenn., March 15 — The Bush administration said Monday that the clandestine network created by Abdul Qadeer Khan, the Pakistani nuclear scientist, netted $100 million for the technology it sold to Libya alone, and for the first time officials displayed a carefully selected sample of the type of equipment that the network sold to arm Libya.

Under extraordinary security — guards with automatic weapons stationed every few yards — officials showed reporters the most basic of the high-speed centrifuges that Dr. Khan marketed to countries seeking to enrich uranium for bomb fuel. Many of the centrifuges, flown out of Libya and stored here at one of America's first nuclear weapons laboratories, were still in their original packing crates.

But the most critical components shipped out of Tripoli — including 4,000 more advanced centrifuges and the drawings Dr. Khan sold showing how to turn the uranium into crude warheads — were kept out of view. So were labels and other evidence that would link specific products to Pakistan, Germany, Malaysia and a dozen other countries where Dr. Khan's network of suppliers and manufacturers operated over the past decade.

The event here on Monday was part of a weeklong effort by the administration to trumpet what it views as one of its biggest foreign-policy accomplishments growing out of the invasion of Iraq a year ago.

"We've had a huge success here," said Spencer Abraham, the secretary of energy, who is in charge of overseeing the American nuclear stockpile. Surrounded by the cache of nuclear equipment, Mr. Abraham argued that the decision announced in December by Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi to disarm completely and rapidly came because of "the resolve that we and others conveyed in Iraq, which has forced countries to make a choice."

Mr. Abraham said that virtually all of the 55,000 pounds of nuclear gear already brought out of Libya, which appears headed to a lifting of most American economic sanctions next month, now rests here, behind barbed-wire fences in the hills of eastern Tennessee.

I smell zioni$t communi$t rats in this deal. The info is very specific, too specific. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the Pakistani nuclear scientist, in my opinion received his nuclear equipment when Israel sold Pakistan weapons recently. It is my guess when Israel was selling arms to Pakistan recently Israel installed RFID and high tech listening devices and this is how the media gets its info on Pakistan's nuclear program and the info the New York times types is using to blame Khan for the sale of nuclear weapons.

This article also does not make sense because it blames Khan for supplying Libya nuclear equipment and technology and Khan has only been implemented as a supplier of nuclear equipment since Israel started selling Pakistan military equipment, and Israel selling Pakistan arms has been only over the two or three months.

Why is it necessary for the bad guys to plant a story stating Libya has had nuclear weapons? Probably because Libya has NOT had nuclear weapons. It is my guess Israel has all the nuclear weapons and does not let nuclear weapons out of its control because the zioni$t know if anyone in the world had nuclear weapons the very first thing that any sane person would do is use them on Israel before the zioni$t$ kill us all. So part of the deal for Libya to get its sanctions removed is to act as if it had nuclear weapons when it did not. The treasonous New York times types media is all too happy to blair whatever the zioni$t communi$t want blaired, as long as it gives the zioni$t$ more Affirmative Action.

Now all the zioni$t$ need to do is detonate nuclear weapons, whenever, wherever, and the zioni$t$ have Libya as the perfect patsy. Who knows Gadhafi and Wolfie may be butties.

When Blair was asked why he traveled to Libya to greet Gadhafi immediately after the memorial service in Madrid for the victims of Wolfowizie's terrorist attacks there, which killed over 200, he said "Madrid was a done deal and the zioni$t communi$t$ needed me in Tripoli to keep Wolfowizie's spring nuke program moving along. You know me, when the the New York times type zioni$t communi$t$ tell me to jump, my only questions are how may kids can we kill and how high."

India awaiting access to suspects

India was awaiting "consular access" to two of its nationals being held in Spain over last week's deadly train bombings in Madrid, an official said on Monday.

"We don't know much. We are in touch with our embassy. We are still awaiting consular access," said a New Delhi foreign ministry official, who did not wish to be named.

"No government can deny that (consular access). If the offences are serious, they could be detained for a long time."

The Spanish interior ministry has named the two Indian suspects as Vinay Kohly and Suresh Kumar.

NEW DELHI: India and UK today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for effective and uniterrupted implementation of contracts for acquisition of 66 Hawk Advanced Jet Trainers (AJTs) for the IAF, a deal that will cost 795 million pounds.

The MOU was inked by Defence Secretary Ajay Prasad and British High Commissioner Michael Arthur.

The actual contracts between the Defence Ministry and British Aerospace Systems, manufacturers of the Hawk 115-Y would be signed next week.

Of the 66 AJTs being bought to provide advanced Stage III training to pilots, 24 will be procured in fly-away condition, while the remaining will be manufactured in India by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) under licence from British Aerospace, Prasad told reporters after signing the MoU.

The attacks killed 200 people and wounded more than 1,400.

Spain's Interior Minister Angel Acebes yesterday said that al-Qaeda had claimed responsibility for the bombings in a video, but the tape's authenticity could not be immediately verified.

Apart from the Indians, three Moroccans were also being questioned, he said.

Meanwhile, Indian Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani told reporters in the southern city of Hubli that the government was seeking more details about the two.

He said according to some media reports the two were Spanish citizens of Indian origin.

"I will find out today (Monday). I read it in the newspapers that they are Spaniards of Indian origin, so obviously they have settled down in Spain and got the citizenship of that country," he said, according to the Press Trust of India.

The navies of China and France begin joint naval exercises on Tuesday off the northern Chinese coast in what Beijing says will be the "most comprehensive" military drills with a foreign power by a fleet under the command of the People's Liberation Army.

Although they are being conducted some distance from Taiwan, the exercises will take place just days before sensitive presidential elections on the island, over which China claims sovereignty.
